How to get a job using the Marketing Mix 4 P's

Looking for a job and getting hired will be the hardest thing to do when graduated college. As students who will be looking for a job in a year and a half or so can apply the 4 P's of the Marketing Mix to help us get a start or on the right path to finding one. The first "P" of the mix is product and in our case we are the product. Each of us know ourselves better than anyone else so therefore we know what our best features and qualities are.
The second "P" is place where we need to find the best location to work in. Either it be close to family and friends, in a big city, or maybe somewhere we we've always dreamed about living. Working in a place where it is fun to be everyday is the ideal environment to be in. Also the costs of living and transportation falls under place as we are looking for the cheapest living expenses as we maybe just starting out on our own and maybe without transportation will require living in a city with taxis, buses, trains, etc.
The third "P" is promotion as we send out many job applications to numerous businesses and companies all around to just get an interview. We are advertising ourselves to many different employers to hope to hear back from at least one. What we have on our applications and what we promote ourselves in person is what determines getting a job or not. Advertising ourselves as a responsible, hard working young adult will be a key in promoting ourselves.
The fourth and final "P" is price as now we may have the job offered to us and look to come to an agreement in a contract. In the contract will be key factors such as salary or wage, sick days, incentives, my personal job and goal. We look for the best possible scenarios as we will need money to buy food, pay for rent, transportation, etc. The contract is the credit terms between us and the employer and is what we have been applying the Marketing Mix towards to finally get. Once we have reached the terms of the contract we have succeeded our goal and applied the marketing mix the right way.

Difference Between marketing, advertising, and propaganda?

Marketing is the way our everyday world runs, it is how we buy and sell goods. Without marketing no one can make money nor would anyone have goods or the items we need today to survive. Any store or business today is an example of marketing.
Advetising is what we use to spread the word for a particular item or service by someone. Today when we drive on highways and see McDonald's billboards, or Geico Insurance commercials on t.v. are all ways of advertising. The market doesn't run as well with out advertisement because many would not hear about certain products or services.
Propaganda is used in the form of advertising for many companies as they try to persuade you that their product or service is better. A great examply of this is insurance companies as they are always comparing to other insurance companies saying their rates are the best, their customer service is the best, etc. Any form of comparing to other products or businesses is propaganda as the persuasion is the key to this whehter they compare or intend it to a certain audience as it maybe a company like Subway saying how bad the food is at McDonalds or other fast food restaraunts.
