In Response to Rachelle's: Mobile Marketing
Mobile marketing as Rachelle states is every where now on every single cell phone you can possible buy you have the option of having the internet and therefore there will be ads within the internet. I do not have the internet or any kind of apps on my phone and I am glad I do not. Many of my friends have blackberry's and smartphones and they are usually always on them on the internet and on facebook apps like that. Ads will come up everywhere on their phones asking them if they want a different app or an ad for shopping anything along those lines. Mobile marketing has become a very cheap way to market your company and is continuing to grow as many companies are now marketing themselves to anyone with a cell phone. It is cheap and affordable for companies that may not have a big marketing budget such as some of the larger companies in the U.S. I think mobile marketing is good in the sense that any company can be in it and it is not just for the larger companies such as Nike or Wal-mart.
Mother's Day Already!!!
As we come to the end of the semester the same thing is on everyone's mind, summer! Once our last final is taken then it is officially summer and it is oh so close. That first weekend back from school is always a sigh of relief as we see friends that we may not have seen in a long time, and see our family whom we may not have seen in a long time. Although we may want to hangout with friends all weekend and most likely continue partying we have to be functioning on Sunday the first Sunday back is mother's day. Mother's day each year for me is a day that I always spend with my Mom to thank her for everything she had down for me. Thankfully for all the ads online and on T.V. I can remember that it is mother's day. Today we see ads for almost any kind of celebration/holiday there is whether it be mother's day or president's day we always see ads wanting us to buy something. As I get older I start noticing more and more of these ads as when I was younger I don't remember nearly half as many ads as there are today. Do you think there are more ads each year? Does this year encourage you to buy something better for your mom than years past?
