In Response to Haley Irwins: Disney Contradiction

After reading Haley's blog on Disney and how they portray happiness and a great time but really behind the scenes work their employees to death to become known as that special place for happiness and laughter. After being to Disney World a few times in my life and having a great time down there with my family I never thought about the people and what it takes to make Disney so great and such a good time. Haley explains what happens behind the scences at Disney and I agree with her that it is not right to have employees working overtime way beyond than they should with no extra pay, treating them unfairly, the list goes on and on but Disney has built up a great reputation to be happy and great vacation for families.

Too Many Commercials

March is a great time of year for sports fans you have the big dance which is the college basketball tournament, the NBA and NHL seasons are almost over so that means playoff time for the Celtics and Bruins. Being that these are all on T.V. means that we have to watch more T.V. and that means way to many commercials on every single channel. In every single sporting event on T.V. excpet for soccer they have media T.V. timeouts which is just saying that they are taking a timeout to play commercials. I think that is redicolous a half of basketball should only have timeouts if one of the 2 teams calls for it, none of this T.V. timeout every 4 minutes thats now how basketball or any sport should be played. Even though many people watch these games all around the nation and it is a great chance for advertisement save it for halftime or other shows, we see these commercials enough when ever we watch T.V. anyways. Would you like to see not as many commercials or T.V. timeouts when watching a sporting event on T.V.?
