In Response to Andrew Mueller's: Pricing
Andrew makes a good case about companies and businesses that price their new products way too high, such as Sony did when it released its new Playstation 3 console. As a consumer and a college student I think it is redicolous how high they price their items and then a year later cut it the price in half. As a businessman in their situation they were allowed to sell that item for that high because people were willing to pay that much for the newest and latest technology. As year one rolls along the demand for it goes down therefore causing such the decline in price. Having a reasonable price is the essentials for most products out there other than technology where you normally see the incredibly high prices and then sudden decrease.
